The British are Coming!
For a Supernatural Event at the Windham Restaurant

7:00 PM

Dining with the Dead returns to the haunted Windham Restaurant featuring British Ghost Hunter Steve Parsons of the hit British television show Most Haunted. Parsons is regarded as one of the U.K.’s top paranormal investigators and also a collector of strange oddities. Join him as he presents the Cabinet of Curiosities. The idea dates from the 15th Century when the rich would gather strange collections of odd objects of historical and religious significance some even paranormal in nature.

By the 17th century the idea was adopted by members of the merchant classes and early practitioners of science to demonstrate their knowledge, education and wealth. The cabinets served as a collection that reflected the tastes of their owner. These cabinets were in many cases the forerunner of many modern museum collections. The Ashmolian Museum in Oxford, England; the Smithsonian in Washington are just two examples of private collections that outgrew the cabinet and the family home before finally being bequeathed to the Nation. They also served as entertainment. The Royal Society in England would often arrange meetings at gentleman’s homes in order that a member could exhibit his collection and discuss the stories behind them. These events would also be accompanied by lavish foods and fine wines. Steve has brought with him from the U.K. many of these amazing objects and oddities. Just like in the days of The Royal Society in England, he will display his collection and the intriguing stories behind them.

Your host for the evening is paranormal investigator and radio host Ronald (VanHelsing) Kolek of the New England Ghost Project and Ghost Chronicles Radio shows.

The activities start at 7 PM and the cost for this eerie evening of “Food and Spirits” is only $49 which includes the speaker, dinner, taxes, and gratuities (Drinks are not included). Seating is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance.
